Has anyone replaced their refrigerator? I have a 1985 28 ft Allegro/P-30 that needs the fridge replaced, but by measuring, it won't fit through the door frame even with the fridge doors removed. The inside of the door frame is 23-1/2 inches and the smallest dimension of the fridge is 24-1/2 inched.
I'm looking at removing the door frame. It looks like it is doable, but there are screws about every 4 inches around the frame.
Can anyone share their experience in replacing a fridge?
Thanks!

You have to take big window next to door out. It isn't hard it is just sandwiched by two frames and a bunch of screws. I had to do the same thing years ago.
Yep ..it has to go thru the big window!did it twice ..lol
