Just returned from our annual trip to the Promised Land State Park in Greene, PA. Our Allegro aka Dead Metal performed flawlessly. No drama to report this time out! This is our 3rd trip with the rig to this campground. PA does a great job with this park. Clean, modern bathrooms, paved roads and well maintained grounds. We stay at Pickerel point which is a peninsula so we have water on both sides. Great foliage this time of year. It was really windy on the way home so I got off of I-80 and took slower, back roads home.

I had noticed that the outside vent for the rear furnace was accumulating a lot of soot. While on this trip I noticed an annoying buzzing when that furnace ran. It turns out that the firebox cover had come loose. I think it was getting too much air, hence the soot.

We went with family who are new campers - this was their first trip with a newly acquired pop-up. They loved it. This is a shot of family and friends sitting outside of Dead Metal (my daughter is in the middle):

I think this might be our last trip this season. Going to winterize the rig this week.
