Hi everyone,

Not that I have any extra time for more work, :)  but since my family wants to vintage camp with me, we just bought a 1976 Dodge Globestar C class motor home.  we started some repairs, but I need good advice on how to clean the outside, especially the rubber insert trim.  I don't want to use something that will make it brittle and crack.  It seems to have some greenish mold in the crevices.

I know I'll have more questions as time goes on.  I'll post a few pictures on my page.

Use a light solution of water and bleach to kill the mold once clean use spray silicone on the tge rubber seals this will make them plyable you can  use this on rubber windows doors

The original rubber extrusion is available at many good RV supply stores - and on-line as well. The new stuff tends to shrink longitudinally, so get extra.

So, how's this project going? I have a 79 Dodge with a 360. Lots of stuff to fix.

Simple Green has always helped us... TSP if that ain't cutting it, and then there's the gel Kaboom that we use on our white roof... Works like a charm!
