Apparently the Terry Taurus is made by Fleetwood, so we have a question about our very old trailer, just purchased. It has been used and abused and needs lots of work. For example, the back seams, from roof to bottom, have split, we think because the inner wood has gotten wet and expanded. Has anyone repaired this kind of damage????  We assume it means tearing out all the inside panelling and frame, replacing both, and somehow resealing the metal seams.

The best thing to do is to go over to the 'How to Member Posts' and click on the Restore a vintage RV link. It will show you how to repair the kind of damage you are talking about. In short you will git the interior and probably will have to remove the skin also. Hopefully the frame will be  solid enough for you to use as a pattern for cutting out new framework. But you may also run into compost, that is where the wood from has entirely decomposed and all you have is black compost.

Please post pictures of how you proceed, it will act a guide to aide another people who face the same daunting task in bringing a GORV back to life.
