OH Yes, God bless them spare parts, Jimco. They are the life blood of old, vintage, and antique/rare RVs.

Hey Russ, I stripped it down to this. Have sold some parts. Keeping some parts that I want. A lot of work. But the parts live on!

Looks like a new trailer hauler in the works to me. Did you do the parting out of parts? or just dispose of all the skin, wood, etc.

Hi Russ, this RV has been parted out. The water damage was to bad. It was only 25 years old.

That is a fact Jimco. Seems like mfgrs just don't care. Get them knocked out and let the buyer beware.  Anyway, is this a new project for you? Or are you working on one for someone else?

Just pulled apart a water damaged 1994 Class C motorhome. I think it was leaking from the roof and windows since it was brand new. Plus the fresh water tank system had a leak that rotted the rear floor out.

It's always interesting when tearing into an old RV how the shop put her together. Most of my problems stem from leaks, poor fastener choices going through the skin and a steel tubing frame wrapped with aluminum (what???) skin and steel screws. Just a corrosive event waiting to happen. I've tried to avoid a complete tear out but at times it's the best and fastest way to fix stuff.

Good luck!

Yup.. I was right,,, the cabinets was built 1st,,THEN,,, they built the rest of the RV around them.

But being serious,, You look like your getting your hands dirty and gettin R done. A man on a mission so to speak,,, Looking good on your progress,, be careful around the rusty stuff,
