Make sure you use that gorilla glue type or you might run over that big ape when he shows up to rip you a$$ for not using it. on the serious side check out salvage yards or look around in your travels at old trucks setting behind buildings and such. Should be something out there especially down Texas way. aren't trucks a right of passage down there.LOL

I checked RV and semi parts house, all they carry is the $499. Ea. Low slung mirrors. Ouch. I just mite steal the wife's hand held make up mirror for an extension and secure it with good ole duct tape.

Silly me, what about a semi tractor supply place, Semis still use that type of mirror.

I have not seen these mirrors in a coons age  have you tried ebay?  Seems to me it was the mid to late 60s that these mirrors disappeared in favor of the low mount ones.  Good luck on your hunt.
