After missing most of the 2017 camping year with a warped torque converter it was a joyful time when we made our annual year end Thanksgiving camping trip. We had a great time and my hopes for 2018…Continue

A little history. I bought the palace in the fall of 2014 hoping to have a way to spend time with my boys as two of them had moved out of town following college. Both engineering grads and both…Continue

Thank you for the nice welcome and wonderful advice Rich! I never even thought about the ZDDP, thank you! And you're so right about those tires, I was thinking that they LOOK just fine, but better replace them before I regret it. When I put insurance on him she told me I had full coverage if it were to break down on the road, I asked "You don't have a crystal ball do you? But, does that include tires?" lol I'll just replace them then I don't have to worry.
Anyway, if I'm going to do it right he is probably not going to see a campsite this year, just way too big of a project. I haven't even started on the generator. Going to follow your advice and go through all of the fluids first today, and replace both batteries. (I see needing second job in my near future) My inexpensive camper is turning into "I should've just bought a new retro version"! But then I wouldn't have my new friends on this wonderful site! Thank you again Rich for the great advice. :)
Thank You.
Hi Rich, yes it seams that a lot of us RV'rs are more and more ladies. :-)
THANKS,
thanks for the welcome
Thank you Rich for the welcome. And that's a great idea about cutting the back and shortening it up. I still want to use the drop down for the bed but a coupe of inches won't matter on that. I'm looking forward to this and will take pictures as work progresses.
Thanks alot Rich I really appreciate that,, I have been searching for years with no luck,,i can use all the help i can get... Ron
I was chatting briefly with Tina last night and was asked about pictures of the Travelcraft I call the Palace and I was reminded that I had none posted. A good while back I had the idea of revamping my picture file. It seamed like every one was updating their profiles and I jumped on the band wagon and got as far as deleting old pictures and changing my profile picture . Well as life often does, I was thrown a few curve balls from poor health to the loss of my very best friend of ten years…
