I have a 1981generic genarator 4000 it runs for a few miniutes then stalls I restart it does the samething again any body have any ideas what could be wrong with itContinue

dodge440 with 727 transmission

Does any one know how to adjust the trans kick down rod on the 727 trans it wont down shift when going up a hill

Ceiling stains from roof

I used pet stain remover with oxyclean in it and you cant even see the stain any more it will take more than one application I just sprayed it on the cieling

Top marker lights not working

I have a 1981 dodge motorhome the none of the upper yellow and red lights don't work I checked bulbs they are are ok any suggestions what it could be

An EGR for a 440 is getting to be tough to find. even at local parts stores. Have your parts guy look at the 403 dodge. Both the 440 and 403 used the same configuration for several years. If you have a local scrap yard you might get lucky there. I'm not sure about E-bay. but thats another option.. I have gotton luck a few times with thw 318 dodges by cleaning the EGR and it malfuctioning due to excessive carbon build up.
