I was chatting briefly with Tina last night and was asked about pictures of the Travelcraft I call the Palace and I was reminded that I had none posted. A good while back I had the idea of revamping my picture file. It seamed like every one was updating their profiles and I jumped on the band wagon and got as far as deleting old pictures and changing my profile picture . Well as life often does, I was thrown a few curve balls from poor health to the loss of my very best friend of ten years P.J. my very beloved Sheltie to renal failure. The Palace developed a bad vibration on my way home from our Labor day 2016 camp out that turned out to be a ballooned Torque Converter and has been in limbo ever since. I bought a very beefed up transmission from Monster Transmission and performance in November 2016 ; it has been setting in it's crate in my garage since it got here in January due to my health issues. We did get it bolted up last week and had to remove it because the torque converter wasn't compatible with the flex plate on the Palace. A quick call to Monster, they are building and sending a correct torque converter and, it should be here some time next week. If you ever have a need, they are a great company to work with. Well that's been my life over the last 18 or so months and I sure hope it turns around some soon. On a good note, I have my little Coleman pop up for emergencies and we are heading out this after noon for a birthday and Fathers day weekend camp out. I have been looking forward to this one rain or shine. I did re post a few pictures of the palace and the Coleman as I've not really got to take many pictures. Hopefully over the rest of the season I will be able to correct that. Happy camping folks.

I am thrilled that your weekend was such a success. That's just wonderful. More memories made that can never be taken away, and that time is precious for all concerned.
I keep hoping that the palace will pull through and you will be putting down the miles with it before the summer is over. But the popup is a reliable backup. Just need to get AC installed, maybe better add two units since it is so ventilated, LOL.
Well, what a weekend, The little Coleman done a fantastic job and we all had a great time. The weather was HOT! but we had the perfect solution, Went for a nice ride and then a dip in the lake. My middle son mapped out a nice scenic smooth rout for us and we saw some of the areas majestic scenery and just a good old ride through the back roads. We topped the day off with a leisurely swim in the lake and then the tall tails around the camp fire pursued. Then a good nights sleep. Saturday started out much the same but the humidity was much lower and we hung around camp much later in the day. We headed out on a road trip to see the Leo Petra graphs and some more sight seeing around the area. A note here, Our camp sight was at Tar Hollow state park. Near by attraction include Hocking Hills State Park and The Leo Petra graphs as well as some of Ohio's prettiest back country scenery. Sunday was was supposed to be raining so we got up early and struck camp and headed home, back to reality. If you would like a weekend from all the crap life throw's at you, then this is the place to go. and leave your cell phones at home cause there is no signal for twenty miles in any direction. They pipe in the sun shine and I think they still have a drum corp to hammer out messages. LOL. It truly is a nice place to get away for a few days and enjoy fishing, swimming and some of the areas attractions.
Yeah, what Russ said.
Enjoy your time, it's non-refundable. :)
