It looks bad and it kind if is but I think it's doable. I was able to jack the right side up off the frame today and got the rotted floor support out. I'm hoping to do the same to the other side in the morning . Then, I'll be able to get the front floor section out, replace all the supports and then the new floor can go in. It looks to be a 4x8 sheet so replacing it shouldn't be too much of a hassle, just getting the old floor out will be tricky.
Every year I go up and reseal the roof and seems. This Tuesday I will be doing it. My roof is nice and clean and leak free. With the new coat on the roof it is also very white lol. Good luck guys.
It's a shame because virtually all of the damage was caused by a single, leaky roof vent. Took out the ceiling, floor and frame in both front corners. There's a bit more damage from a leaky fridge vent too. It's so simple to prevent this, but so many people neglect to inspect and seal them like they should.
WOW!! have fun with that. Man that is a lot of work.
If you don't get called in tonight I can swing by for a bit. It's an ugly mess now, but we've been there with lots of our projects in the past.
Not much of a vintage camper but I figured this would be a good site to post my project pictures. Also, check what out what I tow it with!
Her's where I'm at right now. No work today so far so I'm going to try and get the front 4x8 section of flooring out this morning.
