We made our first trip and learned a lot of lessons on the way...won't be driving thru Nebraska again for quite a while. LOL! We survived.

sorry that should say 12.88 miles to the gallon. also we had magnetic lights since ours aren't fully working and the first set got ruined when the back hatch came open. it appears that the hitch co. wired me backwards as well. left turn signal lights the right light that is magneted and says "right"....so someone messed up LOL! I mean CRAZY!!!!!!

it was a miserable long drive. we would sway at over 50mph so we need to put a sway thing on my hitch and attach our sway bar. there is one on the camper hitch already. also one window set kept coming open and we had a mishap with the back hatch coming open once...we need to work on that more. I got 2.88 miles per gallon pulling it. OUCH! The newer jeeps aren't as good at pulling. I had transmission work done a week before we left luckily or it would have been shot probably while out there in the hills. There was a lot more that happened, it was almost like a national lampoons vacation, we kind of laugh now but it was like twighlight zone and crazy both the way there, while there and on the way back. LOL!
