Yes, sounds like you camp exactly like us. I'm fine with using campground showers. I get up early anyway, put on my grim reaper hooded robe and flip flops, throw shampoo, body wash and a puff in a plastic bag and head off to the shower in the most. The showers are dry at that time and clean. No need to fill up the gray tank with shower water. Paul's the one who said I look like the grim reaper.

You sound like me, I rarely camp anywhere that has much more than electric sites. and a lot of them don't have dump stations. We fill the water at home as well and most generally take bottled water for consumption. The tank water is for doing dishes and flushing and most times we use the parks bath house for showering although my system is in a healthy state if needed. Good luck on your next adventure and safe travels!

Thanks again Rich. Thursday morning we leave for another two night trip across the state. It will be nice to just enjoy it without working on it. We resanitized the water system since we had to put a new filler hose on it after the new filler fitting outside. We fill up with our own good water before trips since we only get electric at the Campgrounds and don't know how the water will be. We use a Brita filter jug for drinking.

My luck with this kind of thing is the store will have one when I need two, or blue when I want red. I'm glad you was able to order more. The whole project looks very nice. and as far as the cost involved you have had a good project to work on together and the out come is fantastic. I don't think you can put a price on that. Having fun creating memories, priceless.

The Canuck! It's s Canadian Company!! That makes this stuff even more expensive. We will have to keep this rig until we die. We could never recoup all the money were pumping into it. We need to get s second mortgage. Haha!!

LOL, of course it is, Paul should have known better than to change the desires of the woman-in-charge. Also, 10" tiles would make the calculations that much more difficult -- 5/6ths of a foot is just not normal. Who thinks in those terms???? LOL

Comment by M K Wilkie on June 19, 2017 at 8:18am
I just called them. What happened was the fact that these tiles are not 1 ft. Tiles, they are 10" which threw the whole thing off even though I calculated 10% over. Yes, it's s large area. I actually think I should have just gone one tile high but my husband insisted we stick with 1-1/2 tiles high. It's all HIS fault. Lol!!!

That is a big area you have to cover. I can see where you were subject to a miscalculation. Pictureing one thing in your mind and when it comes to actually measuring, you measure what is there, not what you envisioned.
