Did you get the red ones on sale!!!! ARRRGHH! I saw them on sale but since then haven't and that's the ones I want. Well, actually I would like something in BRIGHT teal/turquoise but they seem to like to keep those muted. I will have to look through more of your pics to see them. To be honest I'm not sure about the brown countertop with a red backsplash - i know brown is supposed to go with everything - lol.
Good to know you had a good experience then with the paper ones. The one on the dinette window is kind of a chrome metal - not bad, inoffensive, and that has the valance thing so will be easy to pop in a pole and add curtains for color.
At least you know you still have them - I hate that feeling when you finally have a good clear out - things you haven't needed for five years and THEN the day after you drop it all off at charity you NEED that one thing!
AH - here's the list!!!!! Like that handwriting by the way and the graph paper - is there an engineer in the family??! Remember some things can wait - that's what my mom reminded me tonight. I don't HAVE to hook up the hot water heater. I can boil water to wash dishes! :-)
What kind of backsplash are you going to put up?
And did you have to source any small blinds? The kitchen windows are so small - they have metal blinds and I'm thinking my options are to paint (which means taking apart) or to replace with those paper blinds (just use clips to hold them up) you can cut down to size. They get good marks for looks and durability, are cheap and might be a temp solution that will look nice enough....
Now that is well organized honey-do-list. I should do one up myself, but I think that if I listed everything that needs to be done on the MMP I would just get discouraged and not do anything. LOL.
