Thanks for the suggestions.

With regard to the Allegro, I can try some timber at the end of the driveway and/or casters. Not sure yet. I don't think it will get completely hung up, but it will scrape hard. There currently is no turn-around up top so I will have to wait to bring it here. I need to have 3 big oaks removed before I can make a big enough spot for the motorhome and to reasonably turn around even smaller cars up there. The turn-around spots and the swing room they provided to get into the garage is way too small.

And yes, the wagon was a good find. Between 50+-year old parts breaking and having to undo some creative fixes by its former owner, It needs dozens of little fixes but we're gaining on it. Like Rich, I figure a bit lower stance and some nice rims would really make it look very cool.

P.S. I still think a set of black center five spoke Craigers and set of chrome exhaust tips is all that wagon needs. L.O.L still think you are a super lucky dude to have come across that gem.

May I suggest a couple of timbers laid down at the edge of the driveway where it transitions off the road. I had to do this at a home I had a bunch of years ago getting an old school bus in and out of the drive.

Jim, just as a thought--if there is room for you to turn the MH around you might try backing up the hill. If there is a problem you will find out right away without causing any damage as the back end will touch before you get yourself into a position of dragging the backend by trying to go in forward and then having to try and backup. Casters are a good idea, but they will decrease the amount of ground clearance you already have.

Got the '64 wagon to the new house. It was a 10-mile trip. Farther than I've driven the thing. She needs a lot of mechanical work but the 327 ran strong. Pulled it up to the top of the hill nicely.

Not sure how I'm going to get the Allegro up here. my 20-foot U-Haul box truck scraped coming up and it hardly had any overhang. I guess casters, air up the suspension and cross my fingers. It will go where the wagon is sitting after I bring in some gravel. Looks like Spring time before I can get it up there.
