I have one A/C on the roof, a Penguin 13,500 btu for when we are parked and I installed a dash A/C. The dash unit is a Vintage Air, designed for a large vintage station wagon. The one on the roof replaced the original, it is a little aft of center. When it is over 100 degrees and we are parked we put reflective covers on the windows and stay cool. On the road the dash unit works good because it blows right on you, it does not cool all the way to the back. I have run the 3500 watt gen set and the roof air when going down the road but it doesn't keep the interior cool. The ladder was adde by me, it didn't have one at all when i got it.
Gary, I've got a few questions for you if you don't mind: how many A/C units do you have and where are they? Did you remove any of the original ones? Do you have a generator on board? Is the ladder in its original spot?
