Yes, mine had a couple different styles installed on it. There was a box full of light parts in a cabinet. The previous owner had at least one spare of everything in there.

Turns out the middle, red side markers only come on with the turn signals. I did some reading and they can be wired up like the front pretty easily. This would allow them to come on with the headlights and flash with the flashers. BUT, there's a chance that adding a couple more bulbs in this manner could back feed the turn signal circuit. I'll have to goof around with it someday when I don't have fuel, transmission and power steering leaks :)

I've replaced most of mine at this point.. had to get 2 different types as some are wired in series and some require ground, some flush mounted some have 1" holes... Now I have a box of "parts" in case plus caps as inevitably a tree branch etc knocks one loose.

Thanks for the info! I never noticed that the rear ones come on with the brake lights, but they must. Looking at the wiring, they're tapped into the brake/turn wires for the tail lights. Since they're dual filament bulbs, the tail light function (when you turn on the head lights) is on a different wires. But up front, the 2 middle markers are tapped into a side marker circuit. They must use a wiring harness as if it was going to be a complete truck. There's an empty bulb socket up there that would have been an orange side marker. These are single filament bulbs and flash with the flashers as well as light up with the head lights.

I went with LEDs because I couldn't find flush-mounted incandescent fixtures anywhere. The factory Bargman's are flush-mounted. I had 8 of the 22 lights out. I got 10 LEDs - 5 front and 5 back and moved working lights from the top to the sides where I had to. End result is all LEDs across the top and the stock bulbs on the sides.

They make LED drop-in lenses for the tail/bu lights, too. They look really cool but at $180 for the kit I think I'll keep my vintage 1157 bulbs.

The top roof level marker lights front and back should come on with the headlights.  Top corner side rears and the lower corner sides also come on with the headlights.. the middle side marker lights front and rear come on with the brake lights (rears only)  and flashers I will have to go over and double check this but I'm pretty sure that's correct.    I haven't gone the LED route yet just because as you know we have 17 marker lights on our babies... $$$.   Also interesting.. my back cap is fiberglass like the front... see yours is aluminum...

Replaced the inoperative clearance lights with LEDs. Might have to do the rest (on the sides).

Question though: there are 3 lights on each side on the front and back. The side, amber lights in the middle up front light up with the headlights and flash with the turn signals. The side, middle lights in the rear do not come on with the headlights. They just flash. After spending a lot of time tracing wires it appears as if this is by design? Does anyone know for sure?
