one of the surprises that we had after purchasing was to find out this rv didn't have any driver or passenger doors.

I know....I felt is was a steal but my husband isn't so sure. We are going outside today to look it over since it's not raining here. I'll be anxious to hear about your road trips. I can't believe you haven't been on a plane! Wow.
Let's keep in touch...

I found mine on craigslist for 800, 70,000 miles but the dodge 318 is bulletproof. You got the deal of the century! There is some water damage inside but I am working on it. The interior looks the same as yours. I'm 24 from upstate NY and have never been anywhere (never been on a plane). We are fixing the champion up and driving to colorado this summer. The only thing we really need is brake work and tires and determination haha. Hold onto that RV!! Anytime you ever gotta get away just hop in and cruise!
Hi Benjamin,
Ours has a Ford motor and is in great condition. It was at an estate sale and I jokingly bid on it. No minimum bid so I bid $500. I of course didn't think I had a chance at getting it so was surprised when they called and said to "come pick it up". We drove it home and it's been sitting in our backyard since.
I am hoping to get it completed soon and use it as an extra bedroom at the beach. I think it has 51,000 miles on it. Where did you find yours? Since I thought I'd be the last person on earth to say "I own an RV", I have no idea of what we are doing. I just loved the looks of this one and probably would never have bid on it if it hadn't been so cool looking.
I'm happy to have found a sister champion.

what a sweet old girl! does that have the dodge 318? I'm so jealous, mine needs lots of work to compare to this!
