refurbishing vintage RV paneling

I have a 1972 Raynel 11 ft. trailer that I'm fixing up. Any suggestions about how to touch up scratches on the old paneling and is it a good idea to coat it with a sealer of any sort for future protection? Also, has anyone here ever heard of Raynel trailers?
