Prowler Rigs

Hi Folk, just a comment in general about Prowler/Heartland trailer. I've found them to be good SOLID rigs. I own 2, a seventeen point nine trailer and a 23.9  trailer. Both are well built and solid and ho-hum, very heavy.Out of curiosity one day when I had to get parts, I asked the salesman at my local RV lot to show me one of the new Heartland trailer and I was very pleased with it. They've maintained the solid built reputation of the earlier models, my 17.9 and 23.9 are both very solid, built…See More

I'm 59, I've had the trailer 4 years. I've previously helped spruce up a 1974 Fleury motorhome (a Canada only rig made in Saskatoon Saskatchewan) My trailer is 17.9 feet long. I also own its "big brother" a 1974 Prowler 24 foot rig that's due for demolition after my last slightly careless tenant. for the Wilderness, which is parked beside the house, I plan a gradual reno while I wait for ICBC to find the previous owner. I need but can't afford a new stove, (top works, oven doesn't (something to do with the propane feed to the oven, it heats up to temp and then goes out. I have a toaster oven to bake in, so its not a big issue. No boon-docking for me, haven't got solar or a good battery yet, but I have tested the 12 volt system and it works but the fridge in there works great! Better than my house fridge. I cheated on the door reno for it, I used a piece of Refectix on the door and then a great piece of Harvest Gold uphostery fabric tucked in all around the lip on the door. I love my trailer, the green stripes will go ( DETEST green!) and become blue, a country denim theme will prevail, I've been on Pinteret all day planning it. Thanks and Hi Everybody, please message me for details about my rig
