Max- thanks for the kind words about old Barney. Unfortunately he will not be going south this winter and will have to put up with the cold and snow. I just put new discs on the front for the journey (I found a place to get them- that took a while as they are obsolete), but alas we are unable to go this winter. Generally speaking the '78 has been pretty good to us and the old 440 just keeps on running. We had an engine fire last winter and the year before needed a new transmission when in Alabama, but other that that it is just the normal stuff. Since the pictures that are posted, he has new LED lights around the top as well as the parking and tail lights- he looks even better with them at night.
Best of luck with your Brave
Hi Maxime, Welcome, I love the Brave, I remember when I was a kid my parents looking at Brave just like yours to pull our boat.It didnt work out mom made dad sell the boat so we just keep camping with our travel trailer, advance a few years and other TTs and then my wife Judy and I bought our 78 minnewinne C25 in 1994 traveled and camped lots with and our 3 kids, now kids are in there 20s and we stiil camp with our winne, now we tow our motorcycles with us. Now my point was to say we are not that far apart about 6 hrs or maybe a little less, we live about 10 minutes south of Gravenhurst or 1hr45mn south of Algonquin Park, a park we love to camp at. Have a GREAT day, Chat soon Rick & Judy
How come you are waiting 4-5 years before going to CA?
I have a 1969 Red Dale TT that am slowly, and I mean slowly, refurbishing. I have had it for a year and ddn't get it out at all last year so this season I am looking forward to camping in it. My parents started us in tenting then we progressed to a motorhome when I was a teenager. Never lost my love for it and decided it was time I got back into camping after a long absense.
What an awesome gift! You must hve been very good last year for Santa to give you such a fun gift! :)

Which one did you get for Christmas...the Winnie?
Welcome, Maxime, Can't wait to see pictures of some of your trips. I think once camping gets in your blood it's hard to stop. I already have the but to go camping and we still have 5 more months of possible snowy weather.
