I think if my camper looked as nice as yours I would not have done such an extensive restoration. :o)The roof had water damage, some of the walls did as well and the floor in the back by the shower was completely shot. I have nooooo idea what I was thinking when I bought this camper. I guess I was tired of looking for a camper and I decided this was the one. At times I wish it wasn't the one. ;o)

I do not have a shop to rebuild my camper in either, but I do have a good friend who is a farmer that has a barn with two sides on it and space for me to work on the camper. Unfortunately every time I am out there it has been at least cold if not rainy and windy as well. He thinks I am nuts, but they don't camp because they are always farming during the summer. He is also not a carpenter, and neither am I. Nor am I an electrician, plumber or HVAC guy/ ;o)

I don't mean to scare you, but like I said I had a lot of water damage. I gutted the inside of the trailer and I was going to replace just the pieces that had water damage. I took the siding off because it was pretty dented. Well once I had the siding off....the structure caved in and voila I am starting from scratch. Did I mention that I am not a carpenter...electrician, plumber or HVAC guy? :o)

Yours looks absolutely stunning in comparison to my camper that's for sure. Regardless of how much or how little work you have to do your scout has great bones. Hopefully you will be able to just peel back some sheets and do some minor fixes to the problem areas.

I will have to update some pictures on my camper but I am waiting until I get further into the rebuild. With any luck (crossing my fingers and anything else I can cross) I will have the walls up and paneled this weekend. If I do I will have more pics to share. :o)
