Welcome to the sight and you won't find a better bunch of people than RV's. My wife and I were bikers and have always traveled by some kind of camper, even pulling one behind my goldwing. We are also working from former marriages and have just bought a place in Texas at Lake Fork, we love to fish. I am a retired police officer and almost retired from teaching auto repair from a career center here in shreveport. My wife is a retired nurse and also has medical problems. If you guys make it down this far give a holler and we will get together.
Hello fellow camper enthusiasts! We are trying to embark on full-time RV-ing, figuring out to go about renovating both our '85 Franklin camper and our lifestyle. We have had our share of life's bumps and bruises, we both are working on our 4th marriage, to make it work and, just, well, make it. Period. Sal is a first responder firefighter from 9/11 (now retired) who is suffering from physical ailments directly related to the World Trade Center tragedy. I am being treated for Major Depressive Disorder. We are both bikers and met almost 8 years ago at a biker rally at Blackthorne Resort in East Durham, NY. We are determined to find our way to Happy! There is a delightful article in the June 2012 issue of Romantic Homes Magazine entitled, "One Happy Camper". Highly recommended reading and visual treat! I (Linda) am absolutely mesmerized by anything and everything related to gypsy vardos. I find them intriguing and inspiring. Guess I'm a gypsy at heart!
