The Rodelite was manufactured by Monson & Sons Trailer Mfg. They started business at the corner of Telegraph Rd and Ann Arbor Trail in Dearborn Heights, Michigan right after WW2. The made two lines of trailers, Playettes and Rodelites. They stopped making trailers around 1960 and became the largest resellers of Avion Trailers in the country for a long time. Avions were similar to the Airstream in construction and made in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Monson & Sons closed down around 1980. This is my family.
Hi Terri, I noticed in your comment that you have a 1957 Playette travel trailer. I am currently restoring a 1957 Playette and cannot find anything about this make of travel trailer. Do you still have this trailer and do you have any picture or information you could share. Thanks, Ron
Welcome! I live in Colorado and have a pull-behind 1969 Red Dale. I got it in October 2010 so I haven't had it out as of yet. But I plan to do a lot of camping with her for years to come. I'd love to hear about some of your adventures.
