i sure did it myself on the ac,i used ossilating saw,i love that tool!!measure ac,cut a lil bigger and go thru alluminum and then insulation remove it and cut thru wood and insert ac ,i plug it seperate from all my other electric so it doesnt drain any other electical things, its 14 foot and i didnt want to loose my windows and i dont use gas tanks so i put ac on metal and on the tongue of the camper, screw inside to wall with the brackets ,and in winter take it in  under table and close my trap door, the trap door is on the tongue and has a lock, metal sits on the trap door to keep water from ac getting to the wood and put my weather strip in and it works great,it was 95 here last time i camped and we had no shade and it worked and felt sooooo good !!:)

Hi Angelina.  check out rosebud's blog and pics of her air conditioning unit installed thru the back wall of her camper..it sits on a tray so it can slide in and away, then the flap closes behind it...not sure if she did it herself or any details, but I just bought my lil 13 footer home and I need to get this A/C idea in my camper..let me know what you find out.  Patti
