I just want to get started!!
So a little back story. I am very very new to RVing!! I love vintage RVS or I should say anything Vintage. My obsession started a couple of years ago and when I saw some show on TV. (I have no idea the name of) We love to camp. We don't get to do it often maybe twice a year, but I think that's because sometimes we just want to go for the day or maybe just 2 and the thought of setting up everything and taking it all back down the next day just doesn't appeal to us. Winnebago's Thermo-Panel Construction "Panel Replacement" ?
Has Anyone ever done their own Duplication of the Thermo-Panels used by Winnebago in their first RV'S?. Other than the heat, pressing. It would seem possible to fabricate close to the original.
And as I have a Roof that has structural sagging. I Chose not to just brace up the panels and just add
an additional layer of thin, structural plywood. Or 3/4 inch T&G. I have found a company that make newer stuff for trailers. But I would like to save the cost (if feasible) by…
