The above picture is the bus before I started.
I've been working on my school bus conversion for a while now. All the lights on the inside where changed to LEDs. While I changed all the exterior light fixtures I replaced them with modern…Continue

Wow, the warm weather is gone with a winter blizzard bearing down on us, it's time once again to share some stories and how to's. I've decided to write several shorter blogs then one long annual one.
We finally got "The Queen" in better running condition and with all the added bells and whistles we had some amazing "glamping" adventures this season here in…
Hope you are well. I haven't been on in quite some time as my feelings go back and forth. At this point there is a part of me that wants another vintage tin can, and then I shy away. I've looked in Craig'slist in Washington and honestly I cannot believe what I am seeing.
For a P.O.S. people want $6,000 up to $20,000 which is absolutely absurd. If I was to get another, at this point I would get one that is redone as I don't think I could poor…Continue
If you've been following my Bluebird school bus conversion you know I have more installments to come. I haven't stopped. I just haven't had time to update. Which I will do shortly.
But I thought I'd tell you about another project I've picked up that I will be working on at the same time. I've always wanted a small camper that I could use for weekend trips and not have to take the…Continue

I began to write this blog so I can share my experience of rebuilding my Vintage 60's Yellowstone Camper. My plan is to post videos and pictures of my progress.
One day as I was peacefully ejoying my quiet retired life, my son came home and decided we needed to clean out the garage! We ended up with a large pile of scrap we didn’t know what to do with. Chris got creative and started welding pieces together creating beautiful art. That looked pretty interesting…Continue
I was waiting for it to warm a bit before we went out to work on the Holiday House and I saw this invitation to start a blog. At 62, computers in general, and "new media" in particular are as foreign to me as a foreign language. I have never blogged, or journaled and anything that took time or effort on the computer. As a general contractor by trade, I feel much more comfortable doing the work than talking about it. But what the heck, why not give it a try?
The story of the Holiday…Continue
I am new to the Site and wanted to introduce myself and our vintage rv. We purchased (new to us) a 1988 27ft. motorhome and we are currently painting and fixing it up. I look forward to sharing our photos as we work thru our remodeling, as well as enjoying looking at your photos and learning from you.
I've included a few photos of how the rv looked when we first brought her home. Here she is:…Continue
Well, we've been digging around our new to us, 1978 Bluebird Wanderlodge bus and have located dozens of manuals for this 'bird from the original blue prints to the old appliance manuals.
IF YOU NEED ANY OF THESE, please let us know. We can photograph them and email you. I know how old manuals can be hard to find, but they are oh so helpful in restoring an old RV/Bus.
Anyway, here's a few that we have in our mits. Please ask if you think we might have what you're…Continue

She's not the Style Liner I've been trying to buy from the 'hoarding farmer' but she's mine! Soon as it warms up, I'll put my carpenter to work on the mess someone made putting in a microwave--and then roll on a whole lot of Kilz. Then pick a color that…Continue
