So it's been awhile since we've had a chance to do an update here as it's been a very busy summer with Bertha.  The first trip to Winslow Park in our backyard of Freeport Maine went really well and gave us the confidence to take her on a longer trip (100 miles) to Lake Winnipesaukee NH, where Karin's mother has a house right on the lake.  The drive was great & uneventful, and we had another great weekend camping in her with a full house of us & 3 teen daughters.  We camped in her again at the lake a few weeks later, and then drove down to our house in Uxbridge MA (125 miles!)  Once again she did great!

We spent some time cleaning her up and getting ready for a big 4 day trip down to Bridgeport CT for Gathering of the Vibes.  Had an amazing time, and she did awesome both on the road & camping.  We even spent some time on 95, which we usually don;t do since 50 seems to be her top flat speed and when you hit a hill it gets a little sad :-(

We've been doing mostly secondary roads and enjoying the scenery.

Next trip planned is what we've been slowly building her up for: a trip out to Watkins Glen for another music festival.  Close to 700 Miles round trip.  The next 2 weeks will be spent cleaning and tweaking a few things, and getting her ready for the longest drive yet!

Hope everyone is having a great summer with their Old RV's!
