Yesterday (Sunday) we worked ALL day from 8am to 9:38pm doing the inside, decorating and found out that Rosie has a leak in the copper tubing below the kitchen sink about the size of a dime. I about died when this happened. This is going to set us back a few weeks. *SIGH*
Didn't get one thing done in Rosie today as planned. We were supposed to have a sanding party, but Mother Nature decided differently for us! It poured rain all day! Ughgh. Although, one of our best friends, Diana and hubby Cecil came over and we got to give Rosie a real good look over to find more issues than planned. Bummer. The best part though is Cecil is willing to help and help us paint to knock it all out here in a few weeks.
So, since there isn't anything really for us girls to do next Sunday, we are going to have a sewing party to make curtains for her so she won't be naked anymore on her windows! Yay!
No matter what, we still got a lot done yesterday. Did bunch of little things that count, got her 3/4's decorated and need to hang pics and take care of the bathroom in decorating too.
Feeling good though in what we did even though we found a major water leak, just a minor set back, but no biggie! Looking forward to getting this stuff done and getting to glamping!!! Also can't wait to take her to the antique shows that I do! Getting excited! So...it's a love-hate relationship at the moment...love that it's coming together...finally...hate that we found a water leak and a few other exterior issues!
Leah.
