Started early..and just stopped and hardly anything got done...from what it feels like! Started off by going to Lowe's and buying little things that were needed for electrical and securing the fridge in. Got the fridge, got her all fitted in and painted around her to match.
Made a door to hide the fridge, kilzed it and still waiting for it to dry. Long story, but the kilz was too goopy! Ughh! So, after that is all dry, I will sand it down, paint both sides of the door, ass hinges and waallllaaah! We will have a door to hide the fridge! Got the holes cut and electrical almost taken care of for the fridge. YAY!
We got the chandelier hung up, all the crystals on perfectly and she turned out to be a beauty! Whooohooo! Even added pink crystals...would you expect anything less! LOL!
After this, I polished and polished the aluminum in the kitchen which seemed forever. Didn't get all of it done as there are patches you can see in the pics that are darker. The more I hand buffed, the more I see of scratches that look like someone took a harsh metal pad and went to town. *SIGH* I buffed and used the polish stuff on one spot for what seemed like eternity for me to get simply exhausted. I'm not sure what to do about the scratches. :0(
Lisa cleaned the windows and you can't even tell. Bummer. Have to find something to take off hard water. Also need to change out the screens.
Well, it' doesn't seem like we got much done today, although we achieved a bit, which is good. Not feeling like we are achieving much at this point, but I know what we did get done needed it!
Still have electrical to do for the fridge and the chandelier, although both work and when plugged in are awesome!
Whew my body hurts today...especially my right shoulder from buffing...I'm getting old!!! Blah!
Leah!
