Well,  a couple weeks ago, my wife and I, traded our '89 Telstar Champion in for an '06 Forest River Lexington RV. We had enjoyed the Champ very much as it was our first RV and took it a several adventures. However, it had some issues that no matter how much I tried, I couldn't solve. The main one was its musty smell, my wife has a most sensitive sense of smell and it was quite strong for her. We got used to it after a few hours on the road, but it permeated everything inside. So when we saw the "Lexy" on the RV lot, we stopped "Just To Ask" and we drove out with it.......We saw another Champ last week on a shopping center parking lot, and instantly recalled our fond memories of 'Champ". The owners of the one we saw, were tickled pink with theirs as they had just bought it a month before!!!!.....(he was full of questions about the lighting and storage areas of his unit). Anyway, we will remain members of this site, as it has a lot of good general camping info.

We are also looking forward to our first outing on our new to us RV!!

LOL Joe!!......We are taking her out to Battle Ground lake this week-end for my wife's B-day, it's our Maiden Voyage trip, been working on her for a couple of days working out the unknown nuances of a new rig!!...Weather is warming up and longer evenings are a sure sign of camping season!!

A smelly RV makes for a unpleasant trip. We lucked out with a good smelling '85 Pace Arrow and the only smell is when I spill a cocktail on the floor lol. Congratulations on your purchase!!
