We have been on our old HR  for 2 weeks now. It is amazing how much "stuff " we have gotten rid of , yet still more to go.  Every day I throw out at least 2-3 things large or small. We had 2 months  to disperse belongings and used that well or so we thought. Send things to the kids,  donating to the local Youth Ranch and sharing with neighbors.  We still have a storage unit  rather full.

We are in an RV park approximately 2 miles from my husbands work. The short commute is wonderful for him after driving  20 something miles each way  back and forth previously , especially during Idaho winter.

The 2 cats are doing well, My adventurous one Fuzzbucket, goes outside a little bit usually at night.  Our other cat "Howard" is a rescue afraid of his own shadow, it was a week before he would explore the whole trailer.

My Little old dog "Spyro" loves the trailer, itis much easier for him to keep track of my.

Our German Shepherd "Baja" is adjusting quite nicely, she has a nice padded bed under the dinette and is learning to sleep there rather than the couch. Her Knee is healing much better now ( torn ACL) due to the enforced inactivity

Hubby is chomping at the bit to get everything, done as finances allow we have a big list.  Proper stairs are at the top to avoid anymore falls. The original stairs had become a disaster and had to be removed.   I  am looking forward to more shelving  this week as we all know every nook and cranny is valuable storage space.

Regrets: That we did not make the change sooner.
