We just purchased a 1975 TEC travel cruiser 25 ft motor home with a Chevy 454 engine. Does anyone else have one? TEC also made Travel Mate and lark motorhomes as well. There's little info on them so would be thrilled to find another owner. TEC stands for Travel Equipment Corporation.

So a little back story. I am very very new to RVing!! I love vintage RVS or I should say anything Vintage. My obsession started a couple of years ago and when I saw some show on TV. (I have no idea the name of) We love to camp. We don't get to do it often maybe twice a year, but I think that's because sometimes we just want to go for the day or maybe just 2 and the thought of setting up everything and taking it all back down the next day just doesn't appeal to us. So an RV or TT would be…

This one's been active since we got the LH2 (an Allegro '87 class A) and I've been working the bugs out of her. Fun, excitement, travel, drama it's all there.
Take a look and laugh and cry at the stuff we go through.
Have a good one and all the best to you....

It's taken quite some time to find one that either wasn't a complete disaster and needed complete renovation or not priced beyond my budget. I have horses so that's enough to drain my pocket.
I'm sure that I can bring this trailer to it's former beauty. My main issue now is taking out the junk…

We have been on our old HR for 2 weeks now. It is amazing how much "stuff " we have gotten rid of , yet still more to go. Every day I throw out at least 2-3 things large or small. We had 2 months to disperse belongings and used that well or so we thought. Send things to the kids, donating to the local Youth Ranch and sharing with neighbors. We still have…
ContinueWhen my wife and I bought our trailer last year. I noticed that it had 12 volt lights already added to it. What it didn't have was a converter! The previous owner ran all the wires under the dinette seat and had 2 deep cycle batterys wired in series with the 12 volt wires attached to one of the batterys. First thing I did was take the batterys out of the inside of the trailer. Next I went to our local RV store to find out how I could hook up the 12 volt system correctly, He was a great help!…
