This was the third time I towed my car to Florida and it towed my golf cart. The picture was at an I 75 Flying J just 2 miles North of the Florida border where I parked overnight for free then had a $2 breakfast at Dennys. Each year I have been passed and looked at and seen by State, County and Local police and NOTHING has ever been said. The car is equipped with auxiliary brakes which brakes it when the RV is braking. However, next year I'm returning to last years towing arrangement which was my pickup with the gold cart in its bed, MUCH shorter and legal even lol

I had to run the AC in my car today when I took it to town, it was that darn hot grrrrrrrrrrrr lol

Richard Nance, There is NO backing up lol. However, from southern Indiana to central Florida we only need to make two gas stops (Chattanooga TN Wal Mart and south of Valdosta GA Flying J) so a Flying J or Pilot or Petro or Loves etc or else a Wal Mart has plentyyyyyyyyyy of room to swing and fill up and stay all night or exit etc.  When we get to Avon Park Florida we pull into a wal mart and unhitch so the wife drives the car and golf cart to the RV park. You DO NOT pull into a place unless you see a clear loop and exit strategy. Likewise all rest stop truck parking areas have plenty of room. HOWEVER as I stated, next year I'm returning to towing a pickup with the golf cart in its bed, that's much shorter and safer and legal even, this is my last planned double tow. When we spend a week at Florida Flywheelers Antique Tractor Show (BOTH Jan and Feb) its spread out over like 160 acres and I may drive a hundred (not quite lol) miles a day from the campground to the show and tractor pulls and antique village and music jams etc etc . This is NOT for the timid, but I need BOTH a car and golf cart in Florida over the winter, so its here.
