That's a great idea, I was thinking of something similar by modifying the current table legs, adding a base to use the table outside and changing the legs to be extendible by shortening the current tube and adding a smaller diameter tube, then drilling some holes to make the setup adjustable up and down. We are currently deciding on the color scheme of the upholstery so that will have to be a later project. After all the other essentials, I want to make it very reliable so I will be doing a full service on the genie, the engine and all the other systems, that way I will know when to do the scheduled maintenance.

Nice..i almost bought one similar..you know that table you got in the kitchen,i want to make one portable and adjustable with an ironing board..(solid frame and the top will be like your table but with travel picture on it)  i can adjust it at many levels and store in when not in use for space its an idea for laptop work place or eating place,plus one can bring it outside also
