Winter in Fl! First time being a snowbird................

Have returned from Fl after being a snowbird for 3 mos, this was a first for me and my husband, it was different not to be  in Mi for the snow. missed family, did not like the bugs in the home and my cat got very ill from the Bugman who came and sprayed the home for roaches!  very ols home and needed work and new furniture, (dirty) had to go to the laundrymat and was asked for money from homeless people, which I felt very sorry for. I don't know if I like it there for that long of time. maybe next yr I can get my husband to go somewhere else that is warm....who knows?  just glad to be in my own home, and getting ready to go to the cabin in northern Mi.  lots of fun.

Sorry your winter wasn't much fun.  If you can take your own RV, it's a whole lot better.  :)  We spent a year + near Winter Haven (in our own rig) and liked it .  First thing ya gotta learn is that those panhandlers were there with their hands out before the were so many homeless people!  Most of them flock down there along with the Snowbirds.  Just say NO!  :)

Sorry to hear of your problems. It was our third year at Lake Bonnett Village RV Park in Avon Park (North of Sebring) Florida and we LOVED IT. We also take in the Florida Flywheelers Antique Tractor shows and several Bluegrass Festivals. Try a different place next year is my advice, there are a ton of Michigan folks at our park.
