"I made that one from wood for the frame and a piece of !/4 inch plywood for the top. If I was to do it again I would make it out of cardboard and then fiberglass the cardboard..  Good Luck"

Lost the escape hatch lid

I recently bought a 1985 Real-Lite truck camper.  While I was getting it home, the escape hatch lid blew off and I couldn't find it.I am having a terrible time finding a replacement.  I ordered from Hengs, but it wasn't quite right.  Too big and the hinge was wrong.  The opening is 17 x 24.Any advice where I could find it?  Is it easier to just replace the whole unit? Thanks for any help,AmySee More
