Hi all, I am a newbee. I found this website while searching for general repairs and rebuilds of mid 80's class C's. I don't have mine yet but will in a couple weeks. My neighbor has an old searay boat with an inboard motor that he wants me to fix. For fixing it he is going to give me his 1983? ( I think) rockwood Ina ford chassis. Yes, we painted it. It wasnt hard at all. Watched a couple of you tube videos first, for some tips that were very helpful. It was very satisfying to see the difference (profile pix shows the "before"). Thanks, yes, the birch in this trailer is amazing! Re-shallac'd it. Not hard either. Again, you tube videos are very helpful (dont remember which ones).
