Blogs and Forums (newly lost)

Before I put my foot in I'd like to ask what is the scope and intent of the two different formats "Blog and Forum" as I have been looking at both and cant really discern a difference. ( But I'm a slow learner)

Wow, Andrew. That's an interesting question. It also confuses me sometimes.

Generally, here on the site, most of us use the "Blog" as a type of personal journal -- for our travel stories or other miscellaneous personal stuff we'd like to share. Then, most of us go to the "Forum" to post questions which we'd like answered by the membership -- things like maintenance questions, or similar.

But it doesn't always work that way. The good news is that either place you choose, the post is available to be read by the entire membership.

It happens that Pat Daly, the owner of this site, will be unavailable for a few days. I'm sure he'll respond when he returns.
