I want to add an A/C to my little Beeline and was wondering if I should just cut the metal or try to put a window unit in a existing window opening? I would rather not cut but, I can't seem to find a small enough A/C to fit in the existing opening. So, if thats the case then why not just punch a new opening in the back where there isn't any windows now? Down the line if I sell it will this be a bad thing?

Thanks everyone! I still haven't decided on which way to go but, I don't think that I will cut anything. I wanted to use the tow frame up front to store my generator when on the road so, I'm getting limited on where I can put it. I will continue to look for a window unit but, I'm also going to look into the stand alone units.

The problem with a typical residential window AC is that they are not designed for the bouncing and jolts that road travel subjects them to.  They tend to disinegrate.  Many years in RV service have proven this to me.  The ACs manufactured for RVs are constructed much better for the road abuse.  If however you aren't towing that much, they cool just fine.  Depending on the room inside that you can sacrifice, Lowe's and others sell portable ACs that only require a couple of 6" intake/exhaust ports plus you can take the unit out during seasons that you don't need it.
