Furnace has 2 flames when pilot on-is this normal?

I recently bought a 1978 Travel Trailer with the original Coleman forced air furnace. It seems to work okay, but when the pilot is lit there are 2 flames visible inside of the chamber. The furnace appears to be working great, however I am thinking that this second flame is not normal and therefore I have been shutting the gas down after use instead of leaving the pilot lit. Does anyone know if this is normal and if not, what the trouble might be? A video of the flame is attached (open with QuickTime player). Thanks!

   Jeffrey, I hesitate to post an opinion that concerns a potential safety issue so take this for what its worth NOTHING. Based on how poorly I could see the video it looks like the pilot outlet is under the thermocouple (where it should be) so the thermocouple is simply splitting the flame in two parts. Its only (if alls well) when the gas valve opens the main burners are furnished with gas and I dont think thats the problem

 

 AGAIN NO WARRANTY this is an uninformed opinion based on not much information, so have an RV tech check it out is what advice I have to go on record as giving. Sorry I cant help myself, Im an Electrical Engineer plus an Attorney so I have to give disclaimers lol its how Im wired...

If this video is taken when the furnace is supposed to be on pilot only; then it would appear that the burner valve is not closing completely.

 Yep, if closer inspection reveals the only actual flame is out of the pilot orfice and the thermocouple is whats splitting it in two tongues, thats one thing (likely NOT a problem) HOWEVER if theres a totally seperate flame exiting the actual burner, thats another thing (likely a problem) such as a leaky gas valve. LOOKS LIKE ITS TIME AN RV TECH TOOK A LOOK
