Why free? does it run, and drive and stop? what's up? I have a '77 jamboree that is great.... Glenn
Does it need to be towed or transported?
Yes it will run, (on tuesday) rblt wedge 413 & Trans + I believe the brakes were done, ....I'll let you know whether it stops or not. ..... (just joking) .... and yes it needs to be towed or transported. I'm going out now to pull a cover note (ins).... clean title fees payed + 2012 tags. I just needed the windshields...... I mean if you live round the corner or 100-150 miles, it can be nursed home. There's one guy ahead of you, but he just wants a few pieces ...... I'd like to send it on to a good home in one piece. call 408 258 6121 408 373 9644. Thanks Peter
haha... I'm in South Carolina.... I'm just courious, that's all... I've got a 440 with a 727 trans... runs like a dream... checking into a noisy fan in the heater and need to get a Coleman AC cover replacement, but that's about all for mine... and paint the exterior.... Picked it up in the Palm Springs area and drove it home 3001.6 miles weighing in at 17,700# with the trailer... Made the brakes a bit dicey, but all in all, did very good... 6.7 mpg most of the way...
If you did the fluids, .. used my old Windshields ..... spent a few days (2-3) checking failsafe stuff, ....I reckon it would go 3,000 miles...... No-one rebuilds a 413 and the Trans, ...brakes too, unless the steering and the rest of the drive train is kosher. ... They just wont let me do anything other than start it and drive it out ..... Got the ins. about an hour ago,. ...... Driving it out on Tuesday...... peter.
I'm afraid that cirmstances here precludes me acquiring a project like that now... we are awaiting a report from my wife's Dr. as to whether or not she has cancer... I was just asking....
I hope everything turns out OK, ...... I did'nt really 'spect ya ta drive 6000 miles fer a project.. Best Wishes, .... Peter.
I sent my sister a link, she lives in Needles....
Here's an update; First off, it's a factory crate 318 rebuild / .... There's not one stain of a fluid leak of any kind, anywhere on the drive train / California vehicle / clean and straight / underneath some light surface rust (over grass storage) / Septic tank perfect / never hit / ...It's got the wackiest air-con cover ever / I'll have her cleaned and in storage on the first / I'll shoot some fresh photos and post them / ...... So, this puppy is available as a whole, (w/ Two used w/shields) or in pieces. ...... but not free anymore cos' I payed the HD tow ($650.00) + storage for three months ($270.00) ..... The difference is she'll be running & driving ...... Peter.
PS, The only reason for towing was I could'nt work on her where she was, and although I arrived early in the morning (when it was cool), by the time all the paperwork had been done it was towards noon, and about 90 + degrees ......nuff said. Peter.
This is in California? Heck, I'd take that! I'm in Bay Area.
Slum Jack, Give me an email address, mine's klarkieklarkie@yahoo.com I was just about to post a cleaned up version...... timed thursday night...... contact me, I 've got a delivery lined up and payed for, (it runs, drives, steers and stops) you can call me at 408 373 9644 or 408 258 6121 ........ Peter.
Slum Jack, As you can see by the phone # I'm in San Jose....... It's tagged til Feb. 2012 ...all fees payed to this year. ....No smog needed.......If you take it now, I'll use the storage for something else, I'll handle $ 150.00 off the tow. ... I'll send you an improved set of photies...... Peter.
