I just seen a picture of a Winnebago Warrior here on GoodOld RV's and it looks exactly like the Spectrum on the outside. The member hasn't posted in 3yrs but I sent a friend request.
Thanks Sam.
Hi Charles,This is the place for you.I added a Itasca discussion here at all things Winnebago. Please put a post there about your motorhome.
So glad to see this page! Jimco's advice helped us a lot when we were brand new to our Winnebago!
Another thank you -- I'm so happy to see this forum. Trying to get our '73 Brave on the road tomorrow (still sitting in the previous owner's yard with stuck brakes). It'll finally get above freezing, so here's hoping everything will start moving.
Looking forward to reading everyone's posts!
Hi Ellie & Chadler, sometimes you have to pick the wheels off the ground and give the rims a good whack or two with a big hammer. This will free up old stuck brakes.
Yep, did it. Just crawled under, though, and whacked at the drum with a hammer and pry-bar. Then cruised nicely! We're on the road!
Hi Jim, I recently aquaried a 75 Winnebago Brave. It seems to run well but needs a lot of things to make it perfect. I have been working on it a bit to try to get it back to a driving state, it was driven to my home when I got it, but it needs a lot to be a safe runner-driver etc.. I will be trying to find original parts, etc.. for replacements, as well as working on issues like the skylight, ac unit, and making it look better withen and without. Any info on where to get items or how to fix issues is appreciated. Here are a few pictures of it. I also have a site for rvs and camping etc.. in facebook if anyone wants to join us we love subjects like this: RV-Bus Conversions, RVs, Dry Camping, Camping, Travel, we have a lot of folks from all over the world talking about their rvs, and we need more "Winne" stuff !!!
Hi William,
Camping World and PPL in Houston have online stores, I signed up with Good Sam and have already bought a few items from Camping World and enjoyed the discount, I'm sure you can find some stuff that you can use from either place. ebay has RV stuff also.
Hi William, nice looking 75 Brave.Good to see you here at all things Winnebago.
Thanks a bunch Jimco W001 !!!!
