Nice looking Winne, William!  We just bought a '73 Brave, and are doing the same searching around.  Camping World is really helpful, but for OG Winne parts, we've been scouring eBay and using SearchTempest (http://www.searchtempest.com/) to watch for people parting out old Winnes on Craigslist.  There's a guy in Maine who's got an A/C unit for sale on eBay, but he's unloading a lot of exterior parts you can email him about.

Good luck!  Keep us updated on your progress!

Hi William... I just bought my 3rd brave.. This one is a 1976.. Last one was a 1975... Good luck with it....

HI William,if your talking about my red and white 1966 Winnebago #001 its called a Lifetime Premier.

Winnebago made about 500 of them in 1966.

This motorhome was sold new in California and bought back by Winnebago in the early 70's.

Winnebago put it into a warehouse where it sat for 35 years. So it was in great shape when I got it.

Just had to put some fresh paint on the bumpers and split rims.

And about your window gaskets,I would check out a hardware store or try a local RV store.

Also you could try a online search.Plus there's Camping World.

sorry coulodnt read the name tag in the pic..

William, thanks for looking at Winne #001.Check out my other photo album's here at GORV's

FYI PPL Houston has a very nice looking 31' Chiefton heated tanks, nice wood work, 454 Chevy hi 80's on the clock- around 8k

HI, I am parting out a 75 Indian. How do I remove the overhead drop down bed over the driver? It would make a nice place to put a model train layout in some ones home. .

Hi John, you should see some screws in the metal frame that go into the three sides where the frame meets the walls.I think that you have to drop the bed down first to get at them.

Let us know how it goes.

yes I saw the screws. do u have to remove the "bed" platform first? what about the spring and tension?

The platform can stay if you can pull the assembly straight out.The spring tension is contained by the two parts of the mechanism.

John, do you have a double front seat in your rig? If so what do you want for it?

Howdy, I tried this a couple of weeks ago and I guess I put it in the wrong place...so here goes..I'm trying again..

I have a 1988 Winnie 27RQ..P-30..454...Can anyone tell me what or where tells the electric fans when to come on?..Last Spring they were not coming on after a 2hr ride, so I opted for the less mountainous route and they seemed to work fine. I did clean the ground wires, but I need to know what turns them on..Is there some kind of switch close to the engines' thermostat?

Thank-you,David

P..S. I really enjoy the pictures of you folks restoring your older Winnebagos!!
