I was wondering if because this isnt a huge rig (19 foot terry taurus w/ dual axle) if I could just put car tires on it? I was thinking something inexpensive (viva 2 @ walmart). Would these be better than Bias trailer tire? I figure if they are good enough for a 4000 pound car why not a trailer (but I am new to this whole camper thing)?

I would not. Car tires have a softer side wall. You can buy 6 ply trailer tires for not much more than car tires.
Just go to any farm and fleet , fleet farm, TSC even Tires Plus. Remember safty first. When your on the road your at the mercy of what ever shop you can find.
Good luck
Dave
