Hello everyone;

I need some help on trying to locate a  entry door for the camper above.  The measurements are 20 3/4"  X 66 5/16" high.

Any suggestions sure would be appreciated..

Good luck.  I looked for a door for my 79 and wasn't very successful.  I ended up getting a motor home door the same width and we'll be rebuilding the trailer wall to accomodate it.

There is a RV salvage yard in Marsing Idaho.  look at Boise.Craigslist.org  to find it  just search RV parts, Marsing

I've never been there but I suspect they may have what you need.

Thank you for taking the time to reply...I will follow up and keep in mind what you

did.  Take care and happy travels.

Hi Toby:

If your trailer isn't completely missing it's door and frame.  You can rebuilt them.  In fact, Larry aka Mobiltec on youtube and owner of CannedHamTrailers.com  has a video on rebuilding a Shasta door.  There really isn't much too them.  2x2s, cardboard or insulation and metal skin.

Here's the video if you want to attempt this.

Hey Sylvia;

Thanks so much...will follow up.. Have a safe, fun spring.

Another good salvage yard is 5 Star RV in Henderson, CO.  Was just there yesterday and they have a lot of doors.  Of course used doors usually need some work so as Sylvia suggested if you have the original it may be worth it to rebuild it. That's what I have decided to do.

The Metal Company in Arvada, CO carry new doors if you are willing to pay (approx $400) and can widen your opening to 22'.

Thanks a bunch....rebuild is our answer.
