1969 Nomad refurb

Hi all, I am having a ball refurbishing my little toaster and am having a few questions- does anyone know how the electrical wiring is actually configured in the older nomads? I really don't want to tear the walls out and we ( me and my repair guy) can't really tell by what the previous owners haved rigged up lol! Just trying to save some unnecessary steps to get the outside running lights etc. working. Inside electrical works fine so far... Ideas? Sources? Anyone? Anyone? Thx

   Harbor Freight ( http://www.harborfreight.com/cable-tracker-94181.html ) has a tool called a cable tracker.  Pretty cheap and will trace any wire right through the walls.  A very cool tool!  Hope this helps, Tony, Joy and Cool Paw Luke

Sometimes its easier to abandon old wiring harness and start from scratch. You should be able to find the leads from the running lights and test the continuity to the fixture. Once each light is verified working splice the wire connecting the light through your fuse junction and then attach the fuse junction to your power supply ( plug to your tow vehicle) or you can do like I did , took my unit to a Uhaul dealer and let his guys run down the trouble and fix it. Get an estimate of cost first.
