Hey everyone;
Well, after 45 years in the family the Prowler's time is finally coming to a close. It is simply too heavy, and getting to the point where it is costing $300-$500 every time we take it out (it basically needs to be torn down and rebuilt completely).
We are choosing to go a different direction and rather than sell the Prowler for next to nothing or give it away (we've run out of family members to take it on!) we are going to strip it down to bare frame and build a flatbed car trailer out of the remaining bits that are still solid so the family can continue getting years of use out of it, in one incarnation or another.
That said; I am going to have a full interior worth of quite literally "mint" or "As new" parts if anyone is interested. The oven, heater, water tank, sink, toilet, fridge - all working and literally brand-new condition. The camper was ALWAYS very well taken care of and never cooked in (less boiling water for coffee). Even the cushions and interior parts are like new. If anyone is interested I would be willing to make someone a VERY good deal on all of it...or would be willing to part it out. We are going to part it slowly, starting mid-June (after we take it out for the last time for our annual Father's Day weekend to Gunnisson National Forest, Colorado). I am just putting this out there now if anyone has interest. I am sure a good deal of these parts can be interchanged with other vintage campers - no problem sending a ton of high-quality digital photographs of anything requested. Thanks!
Jesse
