sealed beam headlights conversion

we have a 1987 southwind class a with the old sealed beam headlights.  Has anyone done a conversion from sealed beams to the newer halogen headlights?  If so would you share what you used and how you did it?

I have converted old cars to the newer bulbs. The sealed beam headlight is still a halogen bulb just a big bulky one. After installing the newer bulbs I was not happy at all with the light pattern. I went back to the sealed beam setup and just bought really nice bulbs. If you do want to change you can get kits cheap on EBay.
