Hello,
I need help with my 36 foot Pace Arrow. I started filling the fresh water tank and started seeing water coming out a small fitted hose on the left (driver's) far rear side of the RV.
Last winter I drained the tank, which is under the rear bed, by using the RV's water pump because I could not locate the drain valve. After the tank was empty, I used the pump to suck in the antifreeze.
I never seen water come out that small hose on the side before. I have the owners manual. Shows a drain valve off the tank but I only see one water pipe (peck) from the far left side running to the water pump.
The only way I can get to the back of the tank is moving the mattress and banging up the sheet of wood.
I have looked under the rear, everywhere, even the frame and removed the spare tire cover (had to check the air in it anyways), Nothing!!!
I need help and this can not be rocket science!!!
Thank you for you help!!!
Joe

My 84 Southwind's fresh water drain is on the left rear corner of the coach. It looks like a valve you would find on a drink cooler. Not sure if that is what you have but it sounds about the same.
Hi Pat and Paul,
I found it and it is just like Paul's Southwind. Never knew what it was for because it was broke off. I am guessing the past owner plugged it and over the winter the plug pushed out. So I am going to put in a valve like Paul's with a 90 on it. That would go right into the line with a hose clamp. I have a bolt in it now just so I can flush and check for leaks. And Pat I did winterize the hot water tank.
Thank you guys!!!!!
