I'm an RV fan and hope to be an owner one day. I'm also a vintage fanatic and like restorations so I hope to go that route with my RV. Anyway, while waiting for my ride at the airport, this guy pulls up in this vintage RV. Wasn't much to look at on the outside but I've never seen one like this before so I was drawn to it like a magnet. He could tell I was a genuine RV enthusiast so he let me check out the interior. I then realized where he'd been focusing his restoration efforts and money. The interior looked like a brand new RV with all the bells and whistles and then some. It was insane - modern, high-tech... awesome. He told me he had to travel out to Oklahoma to buy it (We live in Florida) and this particular RV was highly caught after by vintage RV enthusiasts. I wrote the name of the RV down but, of course, lost it. I've been looking at some of the photos on this site and I think his RV was a Travco. It was kinda boxy and a shorter RV, maybe 25-30ft. He told me these were the best built and most robust RV's ever built and last for a long time which is why they're in such demand.
Does anybody have any idea what this RV might have been?
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt, how about FMC Revcon or Newell before they started making large coach models?
Newell has always made a quality motor home.I got to check out one of these early models at a TCT event at few years ago.Newell owners really like to update their rigs.I once was looking at a newer one for sale and the owner told me that he had just spent $25,000 on front interior upgrades at the Newell factory. The new leather heated drivers seat with air ride was very comfortable.
